if you do not see a difference you're either selling minoxidil or retarded.
Different angle and lighting is all. Literally no difference. You are exaggerating the downward angle on your face which can look unflattering for anyone. Again read the abstract i linked. It's not the only one. Rat fibroblasts are histologically identical to humans so this model is adequate in assessing minoxidils ability to inhibit collagen in vivo. Again i'm not "pro minoxidil" its moderately effect in some and can cause some sides, but it doesn't age you. Everyone who makes this ridiculous claim doesn't know what they're talking about. Its psychosomatic.

I'm arguing one point here and thats it doesn't cause collagen inhibition invivo. Water retention yes, cardiac problems yes, sagging skin, no. So many things change when you transition from in vitro to in vivo. You have no concept of this and can't argue a point beyond "f*** you retard my gf and doctors agree with me!" You sound like a jaded twit. No treatment comes close to performing how minxodil does in hair regrowth, so youre welcome to stay in your echo chamber knowing safely you probably won't regain the hair you lost back on anti androgens alone.

Do you have any evidence, or just conjecture?

"In contrast to its stimulatory effects on epithelial cells, minoxidil has been shown to have a variety of inhibitory effects on fibroblasts in-vitro. These effects occur at concentrations much lower than 2% (approximately 100 mM) topical solution that is applied to intact skin to generate hair growth"
"Despite use of high minoxidil doses and the least irritating formulations, inhibitory effects were not demonstrated."
"In-vitro culture is an incomplete method of studying wound dynamics because of the complexity of the in-vivo interactions between tissue tension, effector cells, extracellular matrix, humoral factors and locally derived growth factors"

"Minoxidil did not demonstrate significant inhibition of wound contraction rates relative to either an inert vehicle, an active vehicle, or no treatment"

Sorry, but that proves nothing. It did show some inhibition of wound contraction rates, just not significant. A small effect on collagen synthesis would not be significant in preventing scarring, but over time it could have a significant impact on your skin if your sulfotransferase levels are high enough.
Minoxidils inhibition of lysyl hydroxylase occurs rapidly and to near completion in vitro. It would not happen "over time". Lysine isn't the only crosslink stabilizing collagen. Minoxidil unregulated pyridinoline crosslinks. Sorry but it does prove a lot. Instead of going off a decade old in vitro study and anecdotal internet reports, go pick up a physiology text book and discover for yourself.

Smoking causes irreversible morphological changes to fibroblasts in the earliest stages of tobacco use resulting in a significant reduction in deposition of collagen. The damage isn't observable for several years of heavy use and can even be mostly mitigated through cessation. Minoxidil potentially alters the crosslink ratios with no effect on deposition.
