16 years old and have the weirdest hairline

My hairline is quite weird (refer to the pictures below), the middle of my forehead seems completely normal while the sides are very low and close to the eyebrows. My problem is quite opposite to most people on these forums, instead of hair loss, i feel that i have too much hair on my forehead. Anyways, i dont think that i have balded from the middle of my forehead as i was born with such hairline ( i looked through old pics) I have always had this kind of hairline. My parents have completely normal hairlines...

I dont know why i have just started noticing this at the age of 16 but i feel that i have become more insecure due to my hair, i find it quite embarrassing and am quite paranoid. I am not sure what to do with this, it looks even worse from far.

To make things worse, my hair are: dry, curly and thick, hence i like to keep it short. I have tried shaving the low sides with a razor but it comes back with a stubble the next day which is impossible to shave.

I have yet to see someone with such hairline, is this natural? I am not so sure about laser removal, etc because i am only 16 and dont have money.

I dont know how this helps but I was born and raised in Canada and my ethnicity is Indian.

Am i too paranoid and should just leave it (like my parents say)? Should i try to remove the hair on sides and if so how? Any recommended hair styles? Should i visit a specialist?

The reason i have had to post this in a thread is because i have yet to find someone with a similar problem on the internet and I dont even know how to phrase my situation.

Please HELP

Thanks In Advance.

Edit: sorry if this is a repost but i cant find my old post anywhere, i am new to these forums

if I were you I would go to a barber and have the hairline detailed... you can get one of those gilette razors that have the detailer on the back and clean it up every couple of days... it's better to have too much hair and remove it, than to have no enough hair.....

you can also consider waxing... You have a few options man.. If you want it to be low maintenance, you can just buzz your hair so the detailing will be easier...

I don't think this is a receding hair line problem. I agree with Sniper^ I think you should just get a proper hair cut and fade to even it out.

I wonder how male pattern baldness would effect you, if your family has it lol, very interesting and unique hairline.
I wouldn't be too worried about that hairline, I personally love it, lazering off sounds like a retarded idea...

Is your dad suffering from male pattern baldness?
BTW a small forehead is usually considered attractive

No one in my family has such a hairline. My dad has completely straight hairline ( kinda box shaped ) and no he does not have any sort of hair loss problem.

can you please give me a link to the gilette razor you are talking about? i have tried shaving with a normal gilette razor and it looks great for the first day, but the next day i start noticing shadows and stubble in the area... I dont mind shaving it off everyday but these shadows dont shave off completely and you can tell that it was shaved wich ends up looking even more hideous and then i have to go through the pain of growing it back. Any edge clippers or detailing razors you might be able to suggest for shaving my hairline? it grows very quickly and looks terrible while it does...

Whether or not there is any history of male pattern baldness in your family, please error on the side of caution and don't do anything that might traumatize your scalp ie; wax job. Merely my counsel of caution. I agree with the members who are suggesting a different hair cut technique. Invest in a well respected hair salon/stylist. Learn to do it yourself No hiding the fact that you've got plenty of it to play with.:hairy: Study professional hair cutting yourself as a hobby or better yet a career. It's a perfectly respectable profession in itself. Thanx for sharing and all the best. Drop us a line in the future along with a pic showing off what you came up with.

Do like black folks and get your hairline detailed. Maintaining it would be just like shaving your beard. It's a much better problem to have than going bald.

Nothing to be worried about and some people who I know that have a hairline like yours, hardly ever lose any hair. Ask a barber to style it or shave into it, but you don't need to worry about it.

Come on all, the guys only 16 so cut him some slack :)
