So ill try mention everything here. I know very little about hair loss, so an opinion from someone experienced on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
-I'm 19
-I have sebborheic dermatitis, but not on the areas on my hair that i am worrying about, so am unsure if that is related to (possible) hair loss, have been using first nizoral and then coal tar shampoo for this for around 6 years.
-Have recently been very stressed/depressed due to break up blah blah
-I first noticed hair coming out in the shower about 6 months ago, it then slowed down and i didn't notice it that much, now it is back~ gives the idea that it may be seasonal shedding ?
-No hair loss in my mothers bloodline, i don't know about my fathers side but he still had a full head of hair at at least 50 years old.
-I have been straightening my hair probably a couple times a week for maybe just over 1 year.

I have a lot of **** in my life, i think my appearance is one of my more valuable assets.. if i lose my hair then well....****.

So yeah that's the rundown, i've been kinda dismissing it and just hoping its normal for that much hair to come out in the shower~ but a recent look at the corners of my hairline have got me kinda worried. (maybe it is a maturing hair line pls)
Any input would be much appreciated, thanks.

Hair looks fantastic. Do us all a favor: monitor your hairline but stay the hell off these forums and ENJOY YOUR LIFE. I would kill for that hair man

Take pictures in the same angle/lighting and compare them every few months. I wouldn't jump on Finasteride just yet, but if you're super paranoid it may be worth it just to go on it now.

If my hair is fantastic as you claim, it's surely better to be safe than sorry.. I'm sure you understand.

Oh that's nothing. Your temples might be receding but I would kill for a head of hair like that.

i am trying to see what is wrong here, but if is stress cause that, try to use oils and vitamins. Best option is to buy derma rolls 0.25mm and use that every day slowly before going to sleep.

The temples look diffuse but not look like receding like usually with male pattern baldness. Maybe you just have some temporary hair loss? Just monitor what happens. Perhaps you are lucky and the hair will start to fill in in the temples all by themselves. If they do not fill in I would advice to get some professional advice from a tricologist or some dermatologist.
