1mg vs 5mg finasteride tabs

I've been on the 5mg tabs, cutting them in 4th's. It was recommended to me to switch to 1mg tabs as you're not getting the full dose when you split them, and it'll be a different dose every day.

Thoughts on this? The 1mg tabs are substantially more expensive.

You won't waste a whole mg cutting them, so you get at least 1.1mg pr quarter. The response to finasteride is flat. Doesn't matter if you take 0.2 one day and 5mg the day after. Your dht level will not fluctuate in any way that is significant.
