Am I in trouble?

Also here's a picture of my head from 2 years ago. Only one I could find with my hair not in my face or pulled over.

Should I be worried?

IMO you're like a Norwood 2 heading towards a Norwood 3. I would get on Finasteride if you haven't done so already.

I would say you are receding I am sorry to say. In that picture from 2 years ago its evident you have similar levels of recession, the way the hairline steps back halfway down the hairline from the centre is seen in both photos but is more prominent in the more recent pics. This is very indicative of male pattern baldness. The good thing is it seems to have barely progressed in 2 years so you probably have non aggressive male pattern baldness which will be very maintainable with a dht inhibitor should you choose to go down that route.

Good Luck.

Well this is all very depressing. Thanks guys, what should I do?

You're definitely not a Norwood three. I have that. When you reach that point, the island becomes
a triangle.

You are a Norwood 1.5, going towards a two.

Agree with the advise though. You should go on one milligram Finasteride, and supplement with five
percent Minoxidil foam twice a day (not once).

You can grow it all back. But only if you start soon.

beautiful receding hairline in the making.

Time to take finasteride, and maintain your hair.

OR be severely depressed in the future. Choice is yours.

He's a NW2. Early onset, where one temple is asymmetrical in norwood to the other.

I'm not sure exactly what he meant LOL. ALSO just got some fish oils, vitamins and nizoral 2%, ordered some minoxidil. Should that do me good?

This dude would be the most horrible and confusing doctor ever. He would be like: "Beautiful development of cancer cells we have here" just hilarious. Hahaha

Never used fish oil or vitamins. Cant damage you but dont expect to much from that in terms of hairloss. minoxidil and nizoral are definetely a good start for a regimen. But in order to actually stop hairloss you most likely will need to add dht-blocker as well. At least if you are aiming for solutions in the long run.

I am 21 and have a similar status. Right now i am on my regimen for just some months and cant come to a conclusion yet. Patience and consistency are the keys for a successful regimen. You gotta try stuff and find the perfect regimen for yourself. Good luck bro!

Nicely said dude. I'm using "The Big 3" shampoo as well, and from what I heard nizoral is a mild DHT blocker. Not 100% sure on that one though, and my hairline hasn't changed much in 2 years so I figure it's a super slow recession HOPEFULLY. So I'll see what this does for me!

Man your hair looks fine... just use nizoral i had similar to you when i was 21 and nizoral stopped it with no sides. Im 28 and newr enough have save hairline i did back then

If you dont care about having sex and want puffy nipples then jump on finasteride

If you want to look like a panda and skin aging then jump on minoxidil

I didn't plan on using finasteride, is minoxidil really that bad? And I'm probably over thinking it. Just stressing myself out really. If min has a lot of bad effects I'll just stick to nizoral and some vitamins and fish oils.

What are you overthinking? You do realize you are receding? Either treat it or let it go. Nizoral is not a stand alone treatment. Finasteride is the first line of treatment and then add minoxidil if you gains are not happening. How much do you really care about your hair?

Honestly i was same as you and the more you stress you will just make it worse.

Nizoral is awsome..i cycle it for about 4 weeks with at least one day off each week followed by a full week off where i use "capasal coconut and salic acid shampoo" prescribed by doctor in uk ....free shampoo that leaves your hair looking thick and nice

The fish oil etc wont do you any harm but wont do anything for your hair other than mabey give it a bit of shine

Honestly dont stress and do your research. Every guy on here that takes finasteride and min are really obssesive. Be carefull whos advise you take.

Live life, excerise, eat healthy and have a positive outlook. Dont sit indoors jacking off over fat girl p**rn whilst gubbing finasteride pills and rubbing min on your head then get crazy on these forums like so many do

You have survived 2 years with little change. Try 6 months on keto shampoo ( nizoral ) and of there is little to no hair on your hands when shampooing ... job done

Well i went from having 20 - 30 hairs on hand in shower to none for the last 8 years and all i take is keto shampoo
