hair piece is not an ideal simple solution, it comes with a cost itself. all the hemorhoids of puting it on, checking if everything in place every hour of your every day, if everything's glued correctly. applications of it, re-adjustments, side effects of glue, discomfort when you head is sweating etc.

Hey, I have some news.

I am quitting finarestid. I was the last weeks suspicious about my facechanging, but now I am shocked. I did not wanted to have it true
I loose some fat, and have more wrinkles now. And I look compared to picture months ago more fiminin. Have you any face changes? I report my sides to the german pharmacy authority (I am a lawyer by myself). This side is not on the product information and it is obvious finasteride changed my face structures. I hope, it will come back to at least 50% like before by quitting. I was a fool. Allready months ago I saw on pictures, that sth. changed.

You have to find the right glue for the front. I am now in conctact with hairpiece wearers. It is the best solution avaible. I was a fool taking sth. like finarestid and risking so much. Now I have confirmed sides, that are not on the product information. I will tap finarestid slow of (1 month), not to stress my hormonal system additionally and hoping to return with my face near the baseline. I am going for a hairpiece, and when hair cloning will be avaible for until 20.000€ for a full head of hair (Imo in 10-20 years), I am going with it.

Properly installed, you don´t have to worry much. It can not fall of.

well, i mean i dont think 1mg of finasteride daily is enough to start changing your face shape and outlines, transgenders when on therapy are swallowing spironalactone and finasteride daily like 5 mgs each and sh*t, so not sure

but it is well known that significantly reducing DHT in males body could result in different fat distribution

do u have any comparison pictures of ur facial features to judge?

this whole finasteride sh*t is absolutely fucked anyway

it is crap shooting, literally coin flip. for 50% it will work like a miracle and save their hair for years to come (example Ashton Kutcher), for some they will end up having hardcore side effects that wont even subside after cancelling treatment

well, man. i will 100% buy hair piece if i go bald. but right now im still thinking if to take finasteride, or to start with just rogaine, or what the f*** to do


im just not sure, im lost right now. full depression mode. dont know what to do.

I am in the exact same situation as you two guys @genetically_cursed @4hair4him. Cant decide whether to take finasteride or not, only microneedling atm. I will definitely get a piece when its to bad, being bald is not an option.

Just my father who was like nw3 at 35, grandfathers both nw2 at 90. Yeah, I also went through the depressive phase. You know man, you have one f*****g life and I choosed to not let it be crushed by this thing called hairloss when there is an actual solution available: hairsystems. Sure, its far from an ideal solution but it fixes the most important one. Eventually there will be a 'cure' in one way or another but I am not going to wait for it.

Do you use a Hairsystem?
It is psychological a bit tricky (Cause you glue sth on your head), but when done propperly undetectable.

Its like me. But I am not that depressed. I just want to solve this problem for me. Either buying a wig and stick to it for years or go another road. I read about microneedling (1,5mm) with minoxidil. But I dont know, whether it will have effects. I just don´t want to show the world my baldness, and a week later appear with a full head of hair (wig). I prefer, people dont know, so I dont know whether I will try sth. else than just going for a wig.

It is like it is. The most important is, to do sth and find a solution. There are some. And if you tried much and dont want to shave. Than a hairpiece is the way to go.
