Hello everyone,

My hairline has been receding since I was 18 years old. I did take some generic finasteride that I bought online on and off several years ago, but it didn't seem to any much affect. I believe I am either a NW2 or NW3. Unfortunately my hair has been turning grey at the same time, and If I don't do something about this will end up looking like Mr. Burns by the time I am 40.

I know everyone recommends to take the big 3, but I am wondering if I can get away with just rogaine and if necessary nizoral.

Looks like you're heading to a NW4..... that forelock is completely gone.

Hows the vertex?

Thank you for your response. It's a little hard to tell right now, I just had a haircut yesterday and the lady intentionally thinned out of the top to make it look more "even" with the front. If I am actually thinning out on top it's in the beginning stages and harder to notice, since I have naturally thick hair.

Ugh, you've got the same damn spot in the middle of the forehead like me. I second everyone who says to try finasteride again, and to stay on longer. Don't stop for at least a year. Some people on this forum don't see results for even longer than that

If you don't mind me asking, how did you handle finasteride? Any bad side effects? And yes, jump on nizoral too. Or, try Regenepure DR. It's still a ketoconazole shampoo, just not as harsh as nizoral. It does wonders for my dandruff and scalp inflammation. Also very gentle on the scalp

Do you think Regenepure is the best keto shampoo? What about Revita? Which one of them do you think is better?
