Hi there,

I'd like to share my experience with everyone here. I'm a 37 year old male on a 5-ish Norwood scale. I had my FUE procedure of 2700 grafts done at Forhair Seoul, Korea, exactly 96 days ago. The 2700 grafts were to reconstruct my hairline. The doctor reckons that I'll need another 1000+ to cover my crown.

A week after the procedure, I took Propecia for a month but then stopped. I opted then to use Rogaine 5% foam, of which I've been on for 2 months now. I shampoo twice a week with Nizoral, normal days with Johnsons. I also try to take food that's said to promote healthy hair growth, rich in protein, iron, biotin, etc and take green tea as they say it improves blood flow.

The first month after the surgery, I'd say that 90% of the transplanted hair had shed. It's been 96 days now and I must say I'm pleased with the results so far. At the moment, I buzz my hair to a #1.5 for a consistent look, although the latest pics down there seems to show I need visit to my barber soon.

I think my doctor had done quite a job :salut: Or you guys be the judge, feedback appreciated

Do you mean it could regress, as I was told it should at least taken 6 months for any growth at all

Growth will typically start at 10-12 weeks, but could take some upwards of 16 weeks.

A good timeline of hair transplant growth, and maturity over time.

I'm at fifteen months, and am still noticing differences in the texture, density, and flow of my hair transplant.

3 months - 10%
4 months - 25%
5 months - 40%
6 months - 60%
7 months - 70%
8 months - 75%
9 months - 80%
10 months - 90%
11 months - 95%
12 months - 98%
18 months - 100%

Considering how you looked before hand (almost completely smooth on top it seems) your results are fantastic for such a small amount of grafts. And you're only at 3 months so there is a lot more hair to come probably. Do you mind if I ask how much (USD) this procedure cost you? If the doctors in Korea can produce these kinds of results and are affordable I may get my hair transplant done there instead of here in the US.

it is great for only 3 months!, you are norwood 6 in the before photo and on the after photo your whole head is covered with hair so it is already fantastic, you should expect a lot to come!
Do you have better photos (light)?

Hi there. Mine was approximately USD4 per graft, but you could probably inquire them personally and discuss on the rates. Here's their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/forhairkorea?ref=ts&fref=ts

Also, probably you might want to understand that the results may differ from person to person. But as for me, I am very satisfied with mine so far.

Thanks for the compliments. My friends are also amazed at how fast these results has been so far. But I am also sharing my regime post-op, which might have lend to some weight to the rate of growth. I'll post some other pics later.

Your coverage looks great so far. Your entire scalp appears to have growth coming in, much improved from the before photos. I know it's only 3 months post-op, but based on the outcome so far, I think it's fair to be optimistic about your future results.

As much as I am curious about the recipient area, please also post pictures the donor area too.

I'm also curious about the donor. I'm guess the scars are not really detectable? Hope it works out, I've been looking into their work.

Excellent results considering how bad it was before....

Sorry what does USD4 per graft mean?

$4000 anyone ? That comes to 2.6 or under 3K if that is the correct amount pricey but it does restore much dignity !

Keep up with the finasteride+minoxidil+decent hair boosting shampoo

At 4 us per graft he must mean this first procedure was $10,800. (2700 x 4). Great results!
