I am currently a NW2 diffuse thinner, only at the age of 21. The diffuse thinning is very noticeable since no matter what, people can see my scalp all on top. It is funny how you realize you have male pattern baldness only when friends keep on telling you about your baldspot. Without them, I am sure I woudl still not notice I am balding!

Well, I have been on the "BIG THREE" for 4 months now.
What has changed?
I used to lose 150+ hairs ... lost count after that, every time I shower (both mornign and evening).
Now it has much reduced to 50+ hairs. Pretty good!

But I am losing more than growing. I already have a large baldspot on my crown.

I hope propecia and minoxidil will fill up my baldspot a bit.

it takes about 2-3 months for hairs that were shed to come out of their dormant phase. you may see some really good results around month 6. cross your fingers and stick with it.

I really don't think losing less or losing more hair is a good indication of whether the treatments have any effect on hairloss. I believe that the diameter of the hairshafts is a better indication. And so far, all hairs that fall out have miniaturization.

Even though I am losing alot less in the shower, I think this is because I now start to go swimming every other day and the hairs fall off during then.

It's just that I don't see a visual improvement. I would be very satisfied to maintain, but that's not happening so far.

Sorry for lack of pictures. I don't own a digi cam.

Yes I will wait for 3-4 more months for an update. Thanks.
