well, your estrogen and test are supposed to increase due to inhibition of DHT production, so i assume if thats not the case for me, my DHT production isnt inhibitedIs that stuff supposed to go down on finasteride?
Why didn’t you test your dht?well, your estrogen and test are supposed to increase due to inhibition of DHT production, so i assume if thats not the case for me, my DHT production isnt inhibited
my trashy city lab doesnt provide dht test cuz reactives are expensive and it has no demand on the marketWhy didn’t you test your dht?
Two months is too early to see any sort of resultI've been on Propecia two months and haven't seen anything.

6 months and for about a month had a complete halt in sheddingHow long have you been on it and what results have you got, if any?
6 months and for about a month had a complete halt in shedding
Took 5 months to stop shedding, went from hair all over my bathroom to literally finding about 6 hairs around my bathroom. Then I stopped shedding as much in the shower, down to about 6-7 hairs shampooing and conditioning. Also find about 1 hair on my pillow a week. Pull test is also coming back negative even on non showering days, compared to when I used to pull about 8 hairs from everywhere on my head. Just stick it out and hopefully it’ll stop your hair loss, I’m just hoping to maintain for 3-4 yearsSo it took a month to stop shedding, or it took 5 months? Or it stopped for a month then started again?

Gonna have to disagree with you there, this site represented a few thousand men who aren’t responding well. The other few million men who respond well and maintain just like the studies show will never post on here or even know about places like this. So statistically it’s probably about right in terms of 80% maintaining as these forums are a very small minority.People's story's on here are so much different than the clinical studys. You're hoping fot 3-4 years but the 10% year study show's over 80% maintained. It seems like in actual experiences guys just cling on for a while.

Realistically no one knows as it’s dependent on the person, I’ve seen forum posts of people who have had hair loss since 16-17, started finasteride and maintained for 10 years. Personally I’m just hoping for 3-4 years, not expecting much due to my hair loss severity (NW3) at 17 but I’m hopefulThanks.
You could maintain for a lot more than 3-4 yrars then, you could go 10, 20 maybe 30.

Maybe moderate in a middle aged man but that’s aggressive for a 17 year old, but then again I have always been ahead in terms of development with facial hair and what not, only time will tell. The studys are all done on men with "mild to moderate". Wouldn't you say nw3 is moderate? I'd say your chances are pretty good if you go by the clinical trials.
