Just wondering whether 5 mg finasteride is more effective than 1mg. Cost is not an issue for me. So if 5mg produce better results, then I will go ahead despite side effects.
It's slightly more effective than 1 mg regarding hair loss, if I remember correctly. You increase the chance of side effects, and it's a good idea to run 5 mg a day for a while, if you're considering dutasteride, which is much more potent.
