Will lifting large amounts of weight hurt my hair or not? I've heard varying reports, and I am confused. Can someone help me please?

IF that hurts your hair then i think your pretty lost anyway....! lift those f*****g weights.... if your hair is going to fall totally out, then you have to play some different cards with the ladies...! That could be a nice fit body...!!! and a tan...! If you dont have hair, and you dont have the body...! Then you're pretty screwed...!!!!!

but honestly.... i really dont think lifting weights can play a role in your hairloss unless you are juicing, which i can guess you're not!!!

Lifting weights will free up more testosterone. When you have more free bound testosterone, its conversion to DHT is higher. Sorry dude.............I lift weights myself.

Rise of T while weight training is only temporary and is followed by a decrease(much like ejaculation). I cannot see why this could hurt hair.

Lifting from what I know doesn't increase test, but it does free it up. With more free bound test floating around, it has a much better chance of converting to DHT. But of course how long this rise in free bound test wil last is questionable. Probably not long enough to do any harm. :)
