Couldn't find a topic that covers it but the question surely isn't new (it is to me though). So could you redirect me to the existing one?
Basically, I'm about to try supplements like EFAs, beta-sitosterol, MSM, biotin, zinc, magnesium, calcium, etc, amino acids, etc. I was wondering if those are the same with EFAs, MSM, etc that is to be found in 'real' food? How to be sure? FDA doesn't even test dietary supplements. My soy isolate powder apparently 'contains all essential amino acids' - does it really?
