Hi Guy's,
Just found this site today after having the buzz cut from hell!
I just hit 40 this weekend and now have Norwood stage 2, so I guess it is time to take some action and this site has given me some great pointers (Think that I will try the propecia and maybe minoxidil).
The point simple helpful suggestion that I would make is that you guys should stop washing with shampoo.
I know this sounds mad, especially if like me that you have always had greasy hair. But, you can do it. I heard about this years ago. What you do is wash your hair only with water and towel dry your hair after you have dried the rest of your body (So towel is damp).
After about two weeks you will notice that your hair seems thicker (Again true if you are like me and have fair hair) and darker, but will look clean. After that time you hair will just reach a natural balance so no conditioner is required.
Try it it does help.
Thanks again for the good advice on the site. And one final thing. If it was women and not men that suffered from hair loss who thinks that we would have a solution by now ? Just a thought !
Keep the faith
