A week or 2 without finasteride?

Nah. I mean ideally, although you would want to take it everyday, the finasteride will still be in your body for a few days, and then it could take an extra week or so before DHT is produced again.
I mean you make lose 1 strand of hair out of the 100 000 you have but nothing serious.

finasteride is out of your system in just hours. However its effects at suppressing 5ar (the enzymes responsible for converting testosterone into dht) take days maybe weeks to return to normal (varies person to person). There was a study i found a while ago that shown a graph of how long it takes for dht to return to normal upon stopping use of finestride. It at least a week for dht to reach normal levels. So realistically your probably only going a few days at most without some sort of dht suppression, thats hardly going to do much damage to your hair.

i too am gonna have to go a week without finasteride , cant afford it right now will probley go back in 2 weeks , if you live in toronto i was wondering if you can hook me a couple pills for some $
