Are they essentially the same product? They both use copper peptides. Which one should I get?

Use the search function. 1,000,000,000,000 threads on this already.

It's basically the same product. No one can tell you the exact difference, but yes they both use copper peptides in around the same concentration. Tricomin spray might have a little more than AC Spray, but the AC Serum is probably more concentrated than both.

I have used both in the past and there both great. I prefer AC revitalise personally. Im an American Crew addict though so my opinion is probably biased.

what are the pros/cons of the three--ac, tricomin, folligen?

i've heard some smell, stain your scalp, make your hair unmanageable, etc.

Hey Gardener,

Thanks for posting that link. I found it incredibly informative. I was wondering however, since most of the time was spent discussing tricomin and folligen, about people's thoughts on the efficacy of AC revitalize serum. Since this is the product I'm using, I'm naturally more curious about it. Does anyone have any good/bad things to say about it?

has anybody experienced shedding from the saw palmetto in AC?

i know there are reports of shedding from oral saw palmetto, but i've never heard of anything from topical saw palmetto.

i'm asking b/c i'd like to add a copper peptide to my regimine to help with scalp health, and AC seems like the best first choice, but i don't really want to mess with my regimine before the 1 yr mark on finasteride. so if it will just give me some scalp health then i might give it a shot, but if there are any other effects then i'd rather wait.

I have recently started using spin trap-C from Dr. proctor. I use only 0.25 ml every day (very expensive). My scalp irritation has completely stopped. If you can afford to buy it, spin trap C is probably the best SOD you can get today. Bryan can perhaps explain its potential better.

I have used folligen before. With folligen, it seemed to work during the first two weeks. I believe one has to use the sprayer. I removed the sprayer and attached a cap to use droppers. I believe folligen loses its efficiency with time or gets oxidized when exposed to air.

Sean68,

Do you use the serum as well as the shampoo and conditioner?
Also, have you had any success with spironolactone? and where do you apply it?

Ive used both the spray and the serum and probably prefer the spray as you can spray into your hair and it makes it feel quite healthy, id use both if i could afford them! I just rub the spironolactone into my hairline at night, too early to say if its effective really i just trust the science behind it and hope!
