Hello!

I've taken Propecia for five years now and it worked fine. The last couple of months though I've noticed hairloss again. My regimen now consists of:

Propecia 1 mg/day
Rogaine 5% twice daily
Tricomin therapy spray once daily
Nizoral 2% three times a week
Tricomin shampoo/conditioner the other days

I'm considering starting with Avodart Dutasteride or some generic in the near future instead of Propecia.

What can I add to the above regimen?

I've considered adding cruched Spironolactone pilles to my Rogaine bottles but some say it stinks badly. :x

Is it ok to apply different topical solutions? I quess each solution has to "dry out" before adding the other. :hairy:

Any recommendations on where to buy Spironolactone (topical) or Retin-A?

Thanks for your help!

You might want to try taking 1/4 of Proscar every day instead of Propecia. If your body has gotten use to 1mg of Finasteride, 1.25 mg might work better. Plus, Proscar is much cheaper. Current regimine sounds very good otherwise, just stick to it.

I had an experience similar to yours and have made similar changes.... I switched to DUTAS which may have some marginal benefits over finasteride (or may not). You should learn a lot about DUTAS before making this choice as it is different from finasteride....

Regarding minoxidil I really like Dr. Lee's (it is fast drying and not greasy crap, meaning you can take it twice a day). He also has products containing retin-a + minoxidil, or spironolactone, if you would like to try this.

I wouldn't add spironolactone into minoxidil bottle, as they are reportedly not stable together when mixed/stored. They can be applied separately, however.

It is ok to apply multiple topicals, and many do.
