Advice on changing to DUtasteride

Hi there

I´ve been using Finasteride for about 18 months and although i´m losing few hairs daily, the top back of my head has taken a beating and scalp is almost showing. I feel my head cold over there already...imagine a Zidane similar type pattern.

I´ve been using Rogaine foam for 2 years already along with Nizoral 2%, Revita performance shampoo and a Dercos strength shampoo.

So far i guess the front top of my head has slowed down but the top back is the worst.

I feel it has been of no use taking all this medicines to fight hair loss although i think that if i hadn´t taken any measures i would probably all bald already.

With this, should i change to Dutasteride when i still have a full head of hair or per other words, when i still have "time"?

If you decide to take the plunge I would try brand name Avodart. I've been on generic dutasteride for 4 months and I have only been losing ground :-\ hoping to see better though.

I've been taking Avodart and I've found it to be more effective than finasteride. Don't be expecting miracles, but the amount of hair I lose now has definitely been reduced.
