after shed, will it regrow?

this question os for the experienced finasteride users. i just received my first prescription for proscar. im thinning at the temples, check out my pics..
ive read alot here that ppl shed after starting to use finasteride. my question is, does it eventually come back or is it gone forever? if so, then its safe to say that these ppl have experienced an 'accelerated' hair loss due to finasteride. another question. if i experienced a shed or my hairline receded even more due to finasteride, and i decided to quit finasteride, would this hair grow back?
