Aggressive Diffuse Thinning Thoughts?

31 y/o. I have been receding for the past 10ish years to a NW3. I usually kept my hair medium length. It was apparent that the top of my hair seemed a bit "looser" than the sides. I buzzed my hair due to the pandemic closing down the barbershops. I can't believe how badly the top of my head has been thinning.

As it grows out, it looks horrible as the sides are much thicker than the top. It outlines a NW6/7

I have been on minoxidil twice a day everyday for about 3 months now. I'd like to give finasteride a try although I am a bit reluctant due to the possibility of unpleasant side effects.

Don't be afraid of finasteride. If it gives you sides just stop it and everything will get back to normal. Don't make the mistake of being afraid until its too late for finasteride to work. I'm fairly certain the combination of finasteride and minoxidil will grant you alot of regrowth.

Roughly 3 months. Once the country goes back to normal I am going to have a talk with my doctor about finasteride.
