I have a question for all the propecia-users who have been on a daily dose of propecia for at least 2 years or so..

Do you have a good body? Where you able to maintain your apperance without having to work out harder etc.? Do you have a sixpack?

Just wondering

PS: If not, please post as well.

I'll throw an anecdotal in here
I've always been skinny as a rail... been on finasteride for just over a year and... I'm still as skinny as a rain

Going on propecia will not result in a six pack?

LOL.

Are you a body builder?

Normal exercise is fine and even weight training. I have been on propecia for 8 and half years and managed to gain weight due to age. I have also been able to gain muscle mass through standard weight training.

The above question you ask, has no implications at all!

Whatever dude.

I still haven't got an answer of any user getting or keeping their sixpack / muscle mass without having to increase their training or so after starting finasteride.

I've been working out consistently for about 3 years on and off. I've been on propecia for about one year. I seem to build muscle/burn fat at the same rate before/after propecia.. It has essentially made no difference to my muscle behavior as far as I can see.

I wasn't looking for your opinion ONLY, stackz. When did you become a mod? And I said more than 2 years at least.

Thanks for that, peapoddy. But as I said, I'm looking for long-term users. (at least 2 years on finasteride.)

no change in my physical appearance since finasteride 6 + years.

I am actually working out a lot right now and I am putting on some nice muscle mass. However I am a tick dude...always have been and I won't ever have a six pack.

Started Oct 2007 and have seen no changes in body composition
or exercise, endurance, etc.

My stomach is the same as it always has been, not ripped but flat and
I eat what ever I want, when and how much I want. I spend about 5 hours
a week on average on a road bike though.

Blah blah blah one year or two years you're only going to believe what u want. If 20 replies in this thread tell you that finasteride has no effect on their body composition and 1 reply said that it did stop them from getting a "six pack", youre going to take what the 1 poster said and run with it.

My camera sucks but as you can see I am balding pretty severely but still manage to maintain a decent body six pack or not. If anything finasteride helps because it increases test a little which has a greater effect on muscle mass than dht.

and as far as the word "peapoddy" i dont speak meaningless slavic slang so you're going to have to use a translator if you want to use foreign words.:gay:

PS: your messed up hormones arent because of finasteride... i think an HRT forum would be more fitting for you! . :hump:

Haha, he was talking to the dude who posted on the other page, 'peapoddy'. He wasn't insulting you :p

Good stuff though man, it's good to know it isn't interfering in your workout regime.

I've been on finasteride for a year, my body hasn't changed any way that it hasn't the years previous etc. What answer are you expecting Amsch? Do you think it has made you put on weight?

That's how must of the "sixpack"s of propecia users (that I've seen) look like... good muscles, but somehow still much fat left.. or is it just me?
