Dear readers,

Sorry if this has bin asked many times before by others. Please understand the moment you suspect you loosing hair (even if you not, once it is in your head you can't get it out) we seek for confirmation.

I never even thought I was getting bald, till my hairdresser made a comment a month ago like "let's hide your widow peaks a bit. That was the first time I ever considered I might be balding.

If so don't spare me, then maybe it is not to late yet to take action.

Some additional information.

I am 32 years old.

Family hystorie.

Uncle mom's side full head of hair with perfect hairline. Not even NW1.
Dad, Nw3
Grandpa dad's side, Bald
Grandpa mom's side. Thinning.

First picture is nearly 15 years ago when I was in my teens.
Second pic is 3 years ago.
The others pics are taken recently.

Look forward to hear from you.

Dear John,

Thank you for you're reply. You mean the temples or really the top? I must add though my hairdresser thinned out my hair badly with a razorblade...

are you kidding me? your hair has 0 signs of hairloss.

This is ridiculous, how can you even suspect hair loss?

I just don't understand guys like this. When I had hair like he does, I was out enjoying life. Not fretting and worrying about my hair... except maybe about how I was going to style it or complaining how my hair growing out would wreck my haircut I just got. Wish I could go back and complain about that now.
I know for damn sure I wouldn't be nervously posting on freaking hairloss forums, even if I knew there was such a thing.

Dude. You have hair. Enjoy your life. You can fret about it later when you actually have something to fret about.

yeah it doesn't make sense - some men think that because temples are shaped triangular, it must = inevitable baldness! Or they see a photo of the top of their head and notice the cowlick/swirl at the crown and panic, even though they've always had the cowlick but just hadn't noticed it.

I'd kill to have a thick perfect NW1 hairline like that, and I bet this guy's crown is thick too. I'm all for being vigilant and I always say the key to male pattern baldness is catching it early, but sometimes this paranoia becomes ridiculous.

.

I used to complain about my hairstyles and that I could never get it styled how I wanted, and that my hair often looked silly and felt irritating. I wish I had been grateful for simply having hair.

When my male pattern baldness started I made a vow that I would never again complain about how my hair looked or felt, so long as I could keep my remaining hair. I've kept to that vow - and am simply thankful for the hair I still have.

I would listen to your barber, or hair stylist if you prefer. If you always go to the same one, they may be the first to notice. From those pics, it doesn't seem like you have any thinning yet. I didn't at 32 either, but I do now.

Don't fret over it for now, but if your stylist notices it, pounce on it ASAP with Propecia. Just don't jump to the conclusion, yet. Wait and see.
