How long do I have left?

Info: I’m 17, been on minoxidil for a long time, was on finasteride for over a year then had to quit. Dad’s balding. Mom’s brothers are balding. Mom’s dad didn’t go bald. Dad’s dad went bald and so did his dad.

Looks fine to me. U got a receding hairline tho. Btw no one knows if ur thinking unless u show a picture from years ago. From that pic ur hair looks fine but I got nothing to compare it to

Why’d you have to quit finasteride?

Meh, medical reasons. Truthfully, it was the fear of the side effects, which I wasn’t experiencing, but given my age, it wasn’t for me to decide

Yea looks thinner. Honestly tho an average person wouldn’t notice sh*t yet. Hair still looks fine.

Your reference picture is not really a good pic to refer to as your hair was longer and the picture is blurry. Can you take more pictures of your hair now? Like one from the front, one of the back, etc.? If your hair is just thinner in that line from the front then it is not really a classic male pattern baldness pattern and you may want to look into more 'alternative' things such as iRestore, continuing to use Minoxidil, add in a caffeine based shampoo (like Lipogaine Big 5), daily massage, etc.
