Any guys on here who've used topical finasteride?

Hey guys,

While busy with my everlasting internet research on hair loss, I've found this study:

In the study they compared the effects of topical finasteride to oral finasteride in men.

There were no significant differences between the two groups as a viewpoint of hair thickness, hair counts and the size of bald area.

So this means that, at least in this study, topical finasteride is as effective as oral finasteride.

I know that the topical finasteride will go systemic, but I don't think its systemic effect will be as strong as oral finasteride's effect. And I'd rather put an anti-androgen on my head than swallow one. So worth the try for me.

Anyone on here who has tried topical finasteride, and did you have success? What dosage did you use? Sides?

the topical finasteride will go systemic enough to be virtually the same as oral finasteride, except with oral you don't have to make a mess. There is a study it has the same effect on serum dht

I thought topical finasteride was useless, shocked it goes systemic enough to have the same impact as oral finasteride. I haven't clicked on the evidence though.
