Are there cases of people growing back a full, thick head of hair from using finasteride/nizoral/minoxidil/whatever, or has the response been only mild to moderate at most? Just wondering..

What makes you think HM is a myth? Aderan is starting FDA trials soon, and Intercytex has already completed phase 1 trials.

by some estimates, it could be as close as 5 years away.

I just hope that my hair stops falling out. If it were to grow back too then I would be so happy but one step at a time.

After about a year on finasteride, nizoral and minoxidil i have been able to stabilize my hair loss but still feel it is getting worse. Don't know how much longer I've got :p

I totally disagree!

What about Procerin? Avacor? Procede? Green Soap? Washing your hair in the sink? Topical MSM? Zix? Oz-Brew? I KNOW that all of these "treatments" work because I read about them on the internet!!!

Some hair at best but some hair is better than no hair in my book:) I seriously question a company's integrity when they state that x brand will grow back all of your hair.

Sorry, I forgot all about those wonder products. Anyway, what do you think of my new regimen. It's strange, when I go home at night I find tiny bits of metal in my hair. Kind of like iron filings. Wierd.

Probably not.

The one TRUE cure for male pattern baldness would, essentially, be genetic therapy for the follicles that splices out their sensitivity to DHT.

And, we're a long, looooong way from that.

Gardener is wrong I am 5 mins away from the true cure. I just have to wait a little longer for the mix of drugs on the back seat of my car to heat up. I will be selling it of course, 365 tablets and your never have to worry about hairloss again (chemical lobotomy) and if you can remember anything about your hairloss then you can have your money back, if you can remember who you are that is lol!

It's a snip at £666.00 including p&p for your one off years course!
