Anybody out there ever gone (or know somebody on the internet who has gone) from NW2 or above back down to NW1 with meds/treatment (no transplant)?

Curious if it's possible

Its definitely possible if you start early enough, and respond well. If your Norwood 3+ id say your chances are not very good. Recovering 1 Norwood level on todays treatments is a pretty amazing result

NW1.5 or maybe NW2 to NW1 is possible. Everything else is a fantasy

I have certainly seen some amazing things. I have seen people go from a developing NW6 pattern to effectively regaining all of their hair in a Norwood 2 pattern, even in a case where the guy was clearly abusing roids (anyone remember that btw? the dude was some US college sprinter that had a huge thread where everyone believed he was natural lmao). Despite that, I have never seen someone restore their perfect 'female' hairline through finasteride and minoxidil alone. I have only seen that happen with drugs stronger than finasteride/dutasteride generally reserved for transgenders.

Yeah which is why its not stupid to ask very early on about starting treatments. If you wait too long you will never recover it
