Anybody here had gynecomastia or lipomastia development after taking finasteride?

Have you tried to use Arimidex / Tamoxifine to combat that?

Would be great to hear your stories, brothers.

Get your bloods done to see where your estrogen is. If it’s between (or less) 20-30 pg/ml it won’t be developing more than just puffy water retention .

had same problem?

No - Issues with prolactin. I asked about my estrogen increase from finasteride and checked my bloods and ensured i wouldn't get gyno because of being in that range. But who knows im sure there are exceptions who at 28+ pg/ml could get gyno. Either way get your bloods done and you'll see instantly if youre in range or crazy outside it.

i actually wanted to post question about it on antiandrogens sub. as far as i understand there can be 3 types of gyno - prolactic induced, progesterone induced and estrogen induced.

maybe since you were at the docs, you can shed some light onto prolactin gyno? whats the mechanics of it? i tried to search on web to see whats the correlation between finasteride and prolactin levels, but didnt get much info, didnt do it thoroughly tho.

finasteride really fucked me over now that I think about it, I went in blindly only knowing that one of the side effects was loss of libido and struggling to get hard. But i was like yah, yah ALL medicines have side effects, finasteride'll probably be like aspirin where the list of sides is just a legal thing and no one really gets them.

Aaaanyway, long story short I took finasteride regularly for about a year, not even big doses because I just wanted maintenance and minimal chances of sides. I got watery semen, weak erections, no sensation when jizzing, minor issues with short term memory, and probably worst of all f*****g gyno.

This isnt pseudo gyno either, full blown hard lumps behind my nips. I got off finasteride thinking these problems would disappear gradually when i got off, but lo and behold 2 years since taking my last pill (i really slowly weaned myself off - really slowly) I still have most of these issues. PFS is real and i'm a f*****g idiot for not researching properly.

Also, to answer yor question raloxifene has helped reduce my b**ch tits into a much more manageable small dime sized lump behind my nips, so it's not always noticeable like how it was before i started taking raloxifene.

its stronger than tamoxifene and has less side effects. you can try letrozole too which completely destroys your estrogen and is a harsh ride, but some people swear by it.

personally for me and many others raloxifene has really helped, so see if you can get a script for some (brand name is evista, generics are ralista although hard to find now)

f*** propecia and good luck bruh
sh*t is fucked, brother. at what point in time after bein on finasteride did u start developin gyno? how quickly u got on raloxifene, did u source it from local pharmacies or on web?

i actually read that a lot of bodybuilders who shoot steroids, use arimidex regularly to remove possibility of gyno and allegedly it works really well for them, without that many sides.

how long did u take ralox and were u doing it on ur own or consulted with some Doctor?

Got gyno after around 9 months of using it when I upped the dose to 1mg EOD. Before then I was at 0.5mg EOD.

Stupidly I didn't get on raloxifene until several years later, I believed it was too late according to the bro's on the internet, but right away it made a difference. The lumps have shrunk right down, and I just have ever so slightly puffy nipples whe my body temperature is warm.

I'm gonna carry on taking it to see whether I can reduce the visbiility of the lumps to almost zero, it is possible according to the studies and ralox is fairly safe to take long term at 60mg.

I researched it myself, the other drugs you mentioned aren't as effective I dont think because they effect other parts of the body whereas ralox is a SERM which means it attaches to the receptor at the breast to nullify the cause of gyno.

It might be too late for me, but seeing as you just developed it you'll be able to blast them away. Be aware though, if you cary on taking finasteride or use duta or anything like that then you'll have to take drugs like raloxifene to keep gyno at bay.
ok, guys, so my blood results came back without free test yet.

my estrogen slightly decreased from 36 to 28 mg pg/ml, so theoretically it shouldnt be estrogen induced gyno, right?

however, my concern and confusion is around progesterone. according to lab stats, the range of norm is within <0.05-0.149, and usually when you are over or below norm they put indicative arrow showing this, but they didnt both times on progesterone, which first time was 0.315 and then it increased up to 0.394 ng/ml. So im not sure what it means, according to web, everything that is less than 1 ng/ml of progesterone is normal for a male. But lab proposed different range.

Also, if to judge by that norm, my progesterone is almost triple the norm and that could explain gyno.

My general Test level stayed virtually identical 5.59 to 5.62 ng/ml.

What are your thoughts on it?
