I feel like after I apply it I get this really awkward pulsating sensation in my brain. It feels like my brain has the hiccups or something. I use spectral DNC and xandrox alternating in the morning and both have retin-a in them. I apply spironolactone at night but I wonder if the retin-a in the other products makes the spironolactone absorb too much. I also wonder if the disturbing sensations I get in my head(physically) could be because I use xandrox 15 which is 15% minoxidil.. I wonder if I take a break from the stuff the sensations will go away. I'm thinking I'll at least have to cut down to a 5% minoxidil solution only at night and see if this sh*t can resolve..

Yes it is the spironolactone. When I was using the 5% cream I used to get disoriented and my brain felt extremeley ... hmmm.... yeah brain hiccup like you said. Some my coordination would be thrown off and I would feel numb and lose sensitivity. I use spironolactone 2% now every other day.

I've been using the 5% cream everyday for about 3 months now. I have never had any side effects at all. I don't think it's helping much either to be honest. My hair has not improved at all and it might even be a little bit worse.

The only other thing I use is one spray of tricomin a day as well. I know it's probs one of the worst regimes ever but I wanted to see what topical spironolactone did. I think I'll have to get back on the minoxidil soon though.

No major sides from using 2% topical spironolactone on my temples but no terrific results either ... I am even wondering whether it is effective at all.. have been on it almost a month ... is it maybe too early to draw conclusions ? the spironolactone I got is the one from Dr Lee's and is made in malaysia .. just wondering if the stuff is legit .. did anybody order spironolactone from dr Lee's site?

not sure if Dr. Lee's stuff is legit. I just bought some; I will let you know what I think.

Your routine is 1 spray of tricomin once a day? Come one that isn't going to grow hair. You might as well just rub AstroGlide on your head.
