Anyone here shed hairs that are thinner towards the root?

Thinner towards the roots indicates the miniaturation still progresses. It means finasteride is not working and you need to go on a trans regimen asap.
Do you know this for certain or is this a guess? I ask as I have seen posts on here and also on reddit where people having this up to a year in still went on to either gain/maintain their hair

I suspect it. But I saw the same when I was on duta for over a year and my hair was nuked. But u never know. Maybe it sheds the weaker hairs and eventually they will grow thicker I dunno.
makes sense, out of interest i see you’re no longer on treatment - do you still notice this?
and also, did you notice it on all hairs or just some when on dutasteride?

Cant recall tbh. I will try very low dose of topical finasteride now with minoxidil just to feel more protected.
how long u been off treatment? and did your hair get worse in that time?

Its complicated. It hasnt gotten worse. But i will use it again to feel more secure.
