I've bumped into this Foligain shampoo Trioxidil 2% shampoo as i was looking for the minoxidil foam, but i couldn't find any review or thread on this forum about it.

It says to help regrow hair faster than minoxidil (Trioxidil in general), but does anyone have experience with it?
Is the shampoo variant better for hair loss than Nizoral?
Does it really block DHT in the scalp?

Hope someone can make this more clear to me!

Well, not much in the way of people having tried this so I ordered this from Biovea. Should get it next week sometime. Will report back soon. Hoping it'll be a good addition to the regimen. Can't hurt anyway.

There are two shampoos from Foligain. One is just the trioxidil, one has minoxidil:

This is the one I went for. I've been using it since June. I just use it once a week as it's expensive. I use it every Monday. I then use Avalon Organics Hair thickening shampoo on Wednesdays and Fridays:

My scalp seems clean and clear of any inflammation. I used to get a bit of thick dandruff at the front right of my scalp when using Nizoral. Lately I don't use Nizoral at all and haven't had any dandruff at all. As for improvements to the hair, I don't know if this shampoo has made much difference in terms of having minoxidil in it. I'm using Foligain minoxidil liquid twice a day so I'm sure that's doing the business. I doubt if leaving the shampoo on the scalp for such a short time would make much difference but initially I thought it can't hurt. I think the other properties certainly are beneficial and I'm sure the overall health of the scalp is better.

I wouldn't be against re-ordering it when it runs out. However, I've seen Revivogen shampoo available on amazon at a good price so may go with that.
