Hey me n my bf (he is thinning and receding at 21) recently went to ashley and martin in Sydney and got the hard sell... pretty much forced us to buy straight away without even seeing the doctor or giving us any extra info... i didnt really think about it enough at the time but after reading heaps of peoples comments on here just seems like its a bad idea and a waste of money? wot did you think and experience? how much did they charge u? I am freakin out wantin possibly to cancel the payments and program but im not even sure if they would allow that since we already signed up..... any info would b helpful thanks! :)

All you need to know is that they are rip off merchants, preying on the desperation and insecurity of balding men.

G'day there, i just stumbled across this topic. i've been a victim of Ashley and Martin myself. i did sign the contract but 2 days later i rang them back to cancel the programme, as i found out that they were pretty much rip offs. they wouldn't cancel my contract and still charging me for the medication that i don't use anymore. thinking about pursuing a legal action against them. any thoughts??

I'm pretty sure we have a thing called 'cooling off' period in this country, give that a go then threaten them with consumer affairs.

I'm in the states and have never heard of ashley & martin but I cant tell you...ALL hair clubs are a waste of money and time...ALL of them. They are not going to do anything for you that you cant look up on the internet and learn about in 5 minutes and they're going to overcharge the f*** out of you for products that either don't actually work, or that you could go buy yourself anywhere for MUCH less money
