Hey, just a general question, how common is it for people to have a mature/maturing hairline at the ages of about 13-15? If possible at all, and if so, is there anyone here that has?

Hi There.

Yes it happened to me. My Norwood 1 left me when I was around 12. One side was still NW1 but my other slipped up to 1,5. The stayed the same for a few years and when I was 20-ish the other side of my hairline was now also in Norwood 1,5 area. This did not change much till I was 25 when my 'bad side' slipped up to a Norwood 2 and I had a slight decrease in density. I hopped on finasteride but had to stop due to sides a few months later. I got PFS but my hair stayed the same for quite some months. Now more than a year after at almost 27, I am slowly seeing the end of my finasteride sides and unfortunately I also see my hair slightly receiding again: I am a Norwood 2 now in both sides of my hairline and have lost more density in the fontal area. For most people this is still not noticible however... I used to wet my water before styling to get it weighted down more when I was younger because it was just too big (I have very curly hair). Now I need a diffuser and some volumizing products to achieve the same texture/thickness.

Guess I am not the most agressive balder ever but if I look at my family me destiny seems to be a Norwood 5 if I don't do something soon. Next month I am starting zix and dermarolling. Might add minoxidil later.
