Hi guys, I'm just wondering if anyone knows a place you can order stocks that have longer hair than 5/6 inches?
I'm a guy with longer hair who wears a partial/topper hair system, and the answer is no, you can't get stock systems longer than 6 inches. You have to order a custom for that. Hair system manufacturers only make 6 inches maximum length on stock systems, probably because there is less of a market for longer hair, especially for guys.
However the good news is that you can make a longer hair system work and look totally natural so don't worry. Also, if your bio hair is still long at the back and sides then you can wear a 6 inch stock system on top and blend it in with your bio hair and still get a really good long hair look (which will be sort of layered). However if you really want the full long hair experience, your best bet would be to order a custom system the same length as your bio hair. You can then wear this as a topper and the length will cover your bald area on top as well as your bio hair on the back and sides. (Presumably you still have bio hair too, unless you are going for a full cap?).
I currently wear a 6 inch partial/topper stock system, and my bio hair on the back and sides is about 10 or 12 inches length, and I get a good result. I recently ordered a custom system 10 inches long with the hairline shaped better than my stock. I am really looking forward to trying this out -it is due sometime next month. I've seen some other really great results from guys with longer haired partial systems.
