Hey guys so I'll write this post out with 1) the symptoms, 2) my thoughts, 3) questions

"Symptoms: noticed slight puffiness in left chest. after first three weeks- Appeared swollen. Four days later- felt pain in left chest, almost a burning sensation and a sore sensation, lower part of breast was noticably bigger. Right side appeared unchanged. Around the same time, I noticed sharp pain in my shoulder. It felt like i pulled my muscle. Immediatly stopped taking medication. Pain persisted for days after. Where I would feel swelling and soreness on shoulder, neck, upper back, (and an occasional sharp stinging pain going down my arm to my hand. Around this time the left breast was puffy, but it did not hurt).

Blood tests showed that everything was fine: estrogen levels were normal and the ultrasound showed that there was slight inflammation in my left chest (under my armpit), but there were no lumps nor disks nor itchiness. Honestly, there is swelling around my entire upper body, but I'm convinced that it's fat tissue and not necessarily breast tissue. It's been a week since I stopped the medicine and while there's slight pain in my shoulder, there's not really any pain in my breast (slightly sore though). I'm in China, and I have no way of getting into see a Doctor in America so I'll post my questions below.

1) Are these symptoms of gyno?
2) Are these symptoms of an allergic reaction?
3. After pain decreases ( and if swelling in left breast subsides), can i apply finasteride again, but begin with lower doses?
4) If finasteride is not an option...
4.a) Can I take topical finasteride?
4.b) can I take dutesteride (topical or pill)?
4. c) If the lower doses appears to be working and i do not feel pain, but expereince slight puffiness in chest, can i take an anti-estrogen to counteract?
4.D) what is ru8841 and cb0301? Are these options?
5) It's been a week since i discontinued the finasteride and most of my pain is in my arm and shoulder. Are we sure that this is gynocomestia?

1) Possibly, would need a diagnosis from a doctor. Usually you would have a lump around your nipple with gyno.
2) Unlikely
3) Applying? Are you using topical. Chest issue may be completely unrelated to finasteride.
4) a) Can try it. Not many studies to back it up really. Could be effective but still could cause sides if goes systemic which is likely.
b) Dutasteride side effects are more likely than finasteride. You will have an even further increase in estrogen so gyno would definitely be more likely on duta
c) Anti-estrogens are risky to take long-term. Can screw with your natural levels, not recommended. Some people do it though.
d) RU58841 is a potent antiandrogen, more potent than finasteride and dutasteride, but with a super short half-life. Mixed reviews on it, but no long-term studies backing up its safety or efficacy. Many people say it goes systematic and causes the same type of side effects as finasteride and dutasteride. Would consider it riskier than finasteride as there are no long-term studies on it, and I think it is produced in Chinese factories with no regulations on production. You would be taking this at your own risk. Most doctors will know nothing about this drug so getting help would be difficult if you have issues. Dont know anything about CB.
5) Arm and shoulder pain is not a normal side effect from finasteride. It honestly could be unrealted. Doubt that is gyno, wouldn't feel it in your arm and shoulder.

It's not difficult

Squishy = your fat

Rubbery = glandular tissue aka breasts

Glandular tissue usually compounds with a small lump behind the nipple.

If you have neither then you suffer from pseudo-gyno.

I had fun before, and know all the symptoms. Had it surgically removed
