I've been using Avodart for eight months, and have experienced excessive hairloss for the last seven of those. I don't know if it's telogen effluvium or increased hypersensitivity to DHT on the drug, or what. Consequently, I'm thinking about swtiching back to Propecia. I wasn't maintaining much hair with Propecia, but I'm pretty certain that I wasn't losing it as rapidly. Has anyone done the same thing with any positive results? (I don't use minoxidil and I use Nizoral periodically.)
