has anyone switched from propecia to anything else

i def belive that finasteride stopped working for me the last few months
im on path to lose about half my hair right now, is it b/.c of the minoxidil
or is it b/c finasteride stopped working for me....

my vertex is shedding crazilly which makes me think its all dont working (only 2 years)!!!!!!

anyhow, is it safe to switch to something else, will i SHED AGAIN????

how long have you been using finasteride for.

Dutasteride has shown to regrow 20-50% more hair than finasteride at the standard tested dosages.

what is your (or others) experiences with the dutasteride
any initial shed,
less shedding.
sides etc

also how many mg are you takng/day

I take 0.5mg a day.

Shedding is about the same as always. Seems like the hair I have been shedding MIGHT be slighly better quality after three months although still thinning.

where do u get dutast. from?

i buy mine from unitedpharmacies.com. i haven't found anything cheaper when ordering over 80 pills.

Perhaps the reason you are shedding so bad is because that stuff you are buying from them isnt Avodart.

I doubt it. 2 weeks after starting the medication I noticed a huge shift in my hormones, sex drive, acne, etc. That has all balanced out since, but there was a definite felt effect of starting Avodart.

It's Dr. Reddy's and to go through all the trouble of the packaging it comes in would be silly to sell fake drugs.

That packaging at most costs 10$ for every 100$'s worth of pills you buy from him.
