If there is something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call? .................... :innocent: Ghostbusters!!!!! Poor Alex, you must be really depressed or stressed out. You look even older now and you have put on some weight. You don't look so good. Are you very depressed lately?

Hey man :)

Try not to worry too much, if it isn't too aggressive then it should be controllable :)

If you're noticing it going back then just go on mild finasteride or Nizoral or... try to improve your diet a bit and don't overdo carbs, sugar or fat (keeps your insulin level low and regulated which would otherwise a knockon effect IMO).

If you ARE feeling stressed or anything at all, grab some Holy Basil, that stuff sounds wicked I just ordered some - regulates stress response AND regulates "sex hormones", including inhibiting some 5-alpha reductase.

It can probably be sorted if you think it needs to be, but you need to be determined!

Personally I'm not willing to let my genes tell me what to do when it comes to my hair!! lol

Dude what are you worrying about you probably chose to start treatment at the perfect time.

Odds are you will get a little bit of regrowth (not that you even need it!) and be able to keep your hair pretty much as it is your whole life. Your temples will continue to recede (though way more slowly), but you will probably avoid the diffuse thinning that is the next stage altogether.

The thinning really sneaks up on you. I thought I just had temple recession, and the when I took a pic of the top of my head you could see straight through to my scalp. Could not believe it! That's when you start losing major hair and what you want to avoid, which you can do.

I think a little bit of temple recession is actually a good thing. It looks manly. You will notice it is often the kind of feminine overweight looking guys that have absolutely no hair loss.

Krazyguy is NW1.5 for a long time, he's posting here just because he's obsessed. He is not balding or anything..

krazyguy, your father was NW2 which means that he's not balding. You're heading to NW2 probably in another 2-8 years and then you would most likely stay NW2. It's a mature hairline, nothing else.

That's because he hasn't got male pattern baldness.

His widows peak makes it look like the temples are recessed more than they actually are.
