I am a 20-year-old male who has been thinning since at least the age of 17. I was previously on finasteride for about 1.5 years before I decided to make the switch to Dutasteride. finasteride seemed to work for me for the first 6-8 months and I am sure it was still working when I made the switch, but I was still thinning on the drug so I took the plunge and hopped on dutasteride. I have experienced no sides on either drug, and have been using minoxidil for roughly 3 years. At this point on dutasteride, I feel like my previously strong hair is even stronger, but my problem areas seem to be getting worse. I am not thinking about dropping the drug but was honestly just hoping to hear that it gets better. I have not been able to find any threads of success stories from people who did not immediately start getting great regrowth so I figured I would make this post. Any comments are appreciated.
