Best Alternative Additions To Big 3?

Hey guys I've been on the big 3 for 13 months and I'm losing ground. I was wondering what alternative treatments are best to try to help maintain. I'm gonna try out dutasteride after I graduate college in the spring and see if I can handle the sides (terrified of the shed to be honest). I've tried RU but it only made me shed for like a month and I was getting headaches and sides at low doses like 50mg. Is topical spironolactone any good or do you have to ingest it orally to get results? I'm a 22 year old Norwood 2 so just trying to get ahead of this before it gets bad. Gonna try out trinov as well. I figure a stack of dutasteride, min, trinov, keto, dermarolling, and sprio/ru should be enough to stop my hairloss

My advice is to get on dutasteride now and let go of fear of sides and focus on spring term. I really have no knowledge of dutasteride except that it blocks 5-ar1 2 and 3 and is more effective by a considerable margin than finasteride at decreasing scalp dht. i really messed up my fall term (i really really fucked up and one of the reasons was hair loss :( )i was losing so much darn hair. Hairloss to me felt exactly the same as getting dumped if not worse and i literally got dumped the first week of fall term, hairloss felt worse. Mental anguish WILL manifest itself physically and you may lose even more hair. finasteride for me literally gave me anxiety relief and FAR less shedding. Sides can also be caused by something else, never ever forget that. I posted wall of text in another thread that was similar to this, i'd suggest you read it. Also, this is a very saddening point in life for some, the end of college (maybe not for you haha), losing more hair while knowing that life is really gonna begin later can be hard, Try is my advice and forget that you even take these meds, you alone will see if you truly have sides as long as you let go of your fear. And yeah, that stock is gonna annihilate scalp dht. You've got balls for doing all this, best of luck

I will suggest you just dont solely be dependant on finasteride..Try to increase blood flow as much as possible like scalp massage and dermaroll and also decalcify the scalps..Blood flow is the thing which regows hair like minoxidil do but I guess minoxidil alone is not sufficient for you..So stop solely being dependant on finasteride...

Yes, ive been massaging my left temple gently however im unsure of what dermarolling is but ill be sure to find out. I do have a question though, does vitamin K decalcify the scalp or calcify it even more. ive noticed that the less of it I take, the less my left temple burns, hurts and itches, but does vitamin k not decalcify the arteries and send calcium better to bones?

Absolutely you are going on right path.Vitamin d3,k,magnesium oil topically and sodium thiosulfate decalcify the whole body where needed and not only the scalp.

ahhhh good then, ive been on d3 for about a year and a half now, stopped in the summer but started again about a week ago and started taking k1,k2 mk4 and k7 in april, i take Kal's Magnesium Taurate also and have been on it since d3 but have heard that topical magnesium is much more bioavialable than any other roa. I wont lie though, since taking vitamin k for a while, i noticed my facial structure to be more angular and defined, it could just be puberty but my face became wider, chin feels stronger, cheekbones wider and more prominent and a slightly wider jaw and more hollowness in cheeks, also brow is slighty bigger than in march compared to now, have you experienced the same? Anyways I've heard of the words sodium thiosulfate, but never lookied into it. i shall also read up on it. Thanks for the advice :). Are you taking minoxodil and did you notice benefits, sides, anything at all?

Absolutely all your facts are correct..I am not taking minoxidl or finasteride because I am just a nw1 diffuse unpatterned thinner but not that much to that extent that I should start using any of from big...But yea I am in the process of decalcifying my scalp by massages and supplements what you mentioned..Yea I will see later how my hair loss progress and then i will do decide what should I do:)

I wouldn’t be too quick to jump on dutasteride. I was on finasteride for a few years and switched to Duta and was shedding for over 7 months until i decided it was enough and went back to finasteride. I slowly started regrowing the hair i lost back and am close to where i was originally.

I would say getting a Derma Pen would be the next best thing besides the Big 3.
