When my hair is wet it is at its worst. I have avoided, pools, cottages, oceans....and its really getting to me. I currently use toppik for daily use but its really doesnt help for water. Anyone experienced success with water concealers? My crown is my worst wet spot

I don't know if I would use any concealer in water. Dermmatch is supposedly able to withstand swimming, but I would try it first with nobody around to be sure.

A friend of mine swears by couvre when he goes swimming but I have no first hand experience.

Yes, Couvre will work well in water unless under high pressure at scalp then it starts to come off (high pressure shower).

I use Couvre out of necessity, but I can't understand why they don't change it so it doesn't smell so bad. The internet is full of posts about the bad smell, yet the company just keeps pumping out the same offensive smelling product.

I know! Doesn't it smell horrible?! Couvre was one of the first concealers I ever tried. But I only tried it once and never used it again, because of the smell. Well, that and because it basically just looked like paint on my scalp. But the scent just lingers on and on and on.

The ingredients say it has "fragrance". I don't know if the smell is the fragrance or if the fragrance is not strong enough to cover the scent.

One thing I have tried which seems to help is to apply it and then comb through it while blow drying it with a hair dryer. I alternate between hot air and cold air and it seems to help with the smell.

I have enough hairs to where the courvre pretty much dyes the fine light colored hairs brown. If you don't have the hairs, it will just paint your scalp and that looks bad.
