Hey all,

I recently got a prescription for propecia, and it cost me $65 at a costco...Is there any reputable stores that sells them for cheaper??? I saw some on-line advertisements for significantly cheaper, but I'm hesitant to order from an on-line company. Thanks

What's with people always mentioning BOTH Inhouse AND United Pharmacy as legit websites? Are these companies related?

What I don't understand is the fact that starting out you would pick one or the other...say you buy from Inhouse. If you buy a generic from Inhouse and see results, why would you then switch and buy from United? Are people just not speaking from personal experience and instead regurgitating what everybody else says?

First off let me make it clear I am firmly against buying online as I think you should only buy from a pharmacy but the above mentioned sites seem to have a good reputation with not ripping people off.

They sell other stuff besides hair loss drugs, highly prescription type stuff that you'd know the difference right away from, and the stuff works. Flonase, for example. There is also a third site we can't mention on here that has legit stuff. But the fact they can get this stuff convinces me it is entirely possible for them to get other legit stuff, like propecia. Yes,they can be tricked by their suppliers, but I really think they are honest and often have good suppliers.

Cassin speaks the truth, the best way to obtain meds is from your Doctor. You will never go wrong doing it that way.

By my estimations, spending an extra £900 odd a year (up to 90% more!!) is very much "going wrong". To me thats like buying a car from a dealer for 10x the price for peace of mind.

Im reasonably confident unitedpharm are legit and the results (and many cases sides also) on here satisfy me to that degree. Indeed i simply cant financially commit to paying the silly money the pharms charge

I spend about $230 a year on legit Proscar from my local pharmacy and I know it is freah & real.

well thats still about 70% more expensive than some pleaces not to mention you're cutting pills which isn't exactly the way forward imo.

I like having 1mg finasteride tablets and i pay about £10 a month for that whereas if i bought 1mg in the local pharmacy its, i was quoted anyway, £80 a month. Im sure proscar would be much less but going by the inflated price of the propecia im guessing id be paying something almost as ridiculous here (over in the UK) so my choice is an easy one really.

And yet you have no clue what you're buying

Point taken but there is zero evidence for me to deduce that the "genuine" stuff is any different or better than the online stuff. In fact most of the success stories on here are from the generic stuff....

so lol, even if its not finasteride it seems to work for many people.....

really, the suppliers of inhouse and united are established such as dr.reddy's etc. these companies are as big or bigger than merk

yes, inhouse etc are at the mercy of their supplier's being honest but do you think your local pharm tests the drugs they receive either? the only difference is you get yours from one supplier and mine comes from another and you think your supplier is more reliable. no? the situation is strikingly similar if you ask me i think your "peace of mind" is a false one.

Hey whatever makes you feel better...no concern to me...

Not sure what thats supposed to mean though?

I buy finpecia for half the price of your stuff. Its the generic drug. No need to be condesending about the facts.

quote from a user on another forum buying from inhouse or united -

6 years on Propecia (local pharmacy) and one year Finpecia.. Same results but more economic.

Cipla manufacture Finpecia and its idential to propecia. Essentially you trust merk more than Cipla. Whatever, but theres zero evidence to substantiate this..... You say to me "whatever makes you feel better" but it should be me saying that to you considering you pay twice as much "to feel better" not me....

:dunno:

Do what you want man....what else is there to say?

What I pay is nothing...a few bucks a month. But I know for sure what it is, where it came from and how it was handled. I am sure cipla is spiffy but at the least you must worry about how its handled during shipping...

I've used both, United more than inhouse but have had zero problems
with shipment or customs and i think my results speak for themselves
as far as the drugs being legit. To eash his own, if someone is happy
spending extra to be "sure" their gettting the good stuff so be it. I can
easily afford the good stuff but I'm really cheap( so I can afford expensive
toys) and until I find otherwise I'm trusting united/inhouse.

As far as I know there is no rule against posting websites but
this question gets asked and answered so often that it's got
to be easy to find using a search and after answering a few times
now I see why people stop responding.

The sites http://www.unitedpharmacies.com/ and
http://www.inhousepharmacy.com/ are both used by
me and many others here and are legit. You will
spend about $200 or so a year for Propecia... a
little better than your $110 a month.

And the only reason I posted that is because I like
your avatar :)

So you can't get propecia for less than about $70/month? I just went to some websites (the ones listed above) and the prices are actually a few dollars more than costco...Am I missing something?

Also, my propecia comes in a bottle of 30 pills and not a pack of 28 as shown on the websites...what gives?
