Better Rogaine application

Seems like the eyedropper that is provided to apply the Rogain places more liquid on the hair than on the scalp and only in a few applicator spots - then it runs down your face or your neck!!

Isnt there a "comb-style" applicator out there somewhere that can apply the Rogaine thru several "pipettes" at once? Seems like that kind of applicator would be able to put much more minoxidil.. on the scalp and would disperse it much wider and easier with much less waste.. Thoughts anybody?

Yeah, that would be a good idea - I've thought that myself... I've been using Regaine 5% liquid in the mornings and 1ml through the eye-dropper seems like it hardly even reaches my scalp.

Before bed I apply 2ml of 7% minoxidil liquid by measuring it into a medicine cup. I then use a cotton tip to apply it - dipping it in and rubbing onto my scalp. Takes a fair while (15-20mins), but at least I know I get adequate coverage and don't miss out on anywhere.

Where do you get the 7% solution (and is it better or just a hopeful possibility)?

7% minoxidil / 0.01% Retinoic Acid. It is the standard issue minoxidil formula for Ashley & Martin. Well in Australia anyway. I haven't seen 7% minoxidil anywhere else... I'm sure there are other places that stock it though.

As for its effectiveness, I couldn't really tell you - I haven't yet received much in the way of results (still trying though!!). I'd like to think it is better, but really I don't know if it would give any more success than the 5% in the long run.
