Good assumption.

I picked crinagen as I liked the price and the fact that is was non-RX item. Also, crinagen has a number of ingredients that MIGHT fight DHT vs just spironolactone.

If I am not happy with the results over time I would ADD spironolactone to the crinagen.

No, I have not tried spironolactone yet but will if I don't think the crinagen is doing the trick. So far, it seems fine.

how long have you been off propecia, it took like let's see march april may june my mid july i was in a horrendous shed, so about 4 months to really see any type of shed. lasted for about 3 weeks.

I think I dropped propecia about 3-4 months ago. No signs of a shed so far. Is that the question you wanted answered?

In my case, it was recurrent cysts AND a drop in libido, that was enough for me.

Don't need to get hit on the head more than once to take some action.

No, he never said that finasteride was too riskey. As a matter of fact he was one of the biggest proponents of the Big 3(finasteride, minoxidil, nizoral). The only difference in his approach was that he actually advocated the Big 3 even for guys that are just starting to lose their hair. gourmetstylewellness.com's approach for guys just starting to lose their hair was to try propecia and nizoral first, then add minoxidil if you need to later on. But they both advocated for guys that needed significant regrowth to use the Big 3 at the start.

Lets get one thing strait here- Bruce is in his mid fifties and at that point in life your Libido starts to slow down anyway, by the way why the hell would someone that age care about keeping there hair? I'm 35 and still single but decided that I wanted to try and keep my hair and that is why I took action and it worked well with no sides. Had I been a bit older like 40 or so I wouldnt have given a sh*t.

I mean no disrespect toward Bruce because he was a great contribitor to this site, just can't understand why a 55 year old would care about his hair? Well to each his own and God Bless- Hope you get back in soon Bruce.

yeah if im 50, im not really gonna be concerned about my hair........sh*t if im gonna pull a young girl at the age of 50 it aint gonna be because of my hair, thats for sure....or even an older girl they arent too concerned with hair or lack of.
