Can I Just Poke My Head With A Pin?

So I have started dermarolling for better absorption of minoxidil but the thing is dermaroller is ineffective at areas with hair like crown (though it works good for the hairline). So I was wondering if it is okay to just poke my head with a clean pin? I actually tried it just now and it is really effective, I can feel that area of my head beating really fast and same pain as a dermaroller causes.

You could just buy a dermastamp... Its a lot more effective than poking your head with a pin...
