I'm an 18 year old guy and for the last year or so I've been noticing that the corners of my hairline are receding. My hair was the one feature of my appearance that I took pride in and this has gotten me really depressed and worried. My hair has always been very thick but I noticed it thinning in the corners like a year ago. Ever since then I have been applying castor oil to my temples almost twice every week and clearly that hasn't helped.
I was wondering if I could regrow the hair that I've lost some how? I'm open to taking medication like avodart (dutasteride).
I have attached photos- One with my current hairline (left photo) , and the other; an edited version with my original hairline prior to hair loss (right photo).
I know I could be in a much worse position, but I just want to tackle it and reverse the hair loss early on. Your help is much appreciated!
