Celebrities, why oh why?...

This might be a bit naive question but please bare with me here.

If some of the top hair surgeons and their techniques are so good nowadays then why we still see tons of celebrities walking around with highly receding hairlines or going bald.

Of course each person is different. Some people might not care too much about it. Some people are a bit older and think it's ok. But in general, at least when one is in show business then going bald certainly does not help ones career. (unless you make it your only image).
My other theory is that some people that are in the spotlight don't fix their hairlines because it would be too visible to the public that they have undergone a plastic surgery. As press have photos of these people from the past and each period etc then it's quite sure some blogger or yellow press journalist would dig them up.
Of course there are some actors and other celebrities who most probably have had hair restoration surgeries and I'm sure there are also some that have managed to hide their more minor fixes but still...
Guys like Jude Law didn't seem to be very happy with his hairline a few years ago (he clearly tried to hide his receding hairline with a certain haircut). Wondering why he didn't do a transplant. He seems to be very suitable donor or so it seems anyway from far away. And there are others.

What do you think?

Yes you answered your own question, like non celebrities many men just accept it (they dont like it) but they accept it. And aswell as being seen as vain many (as I expect in the case of Jude Law) dont have the time to take months out and risk losing work and exposure.

Any change in a celebrity's appearance may effect their career or they may not be allowed contractually to dramatically change. Would bruce willis get another part with hair? That's the scary question.

Definatley, since he wears wigs in many of his roles anyway. He gets roles despite his hairloss (mainly due to the reputation he earned when it was'nt so obvious) not because of it.
I'd bet anything if Bruce had lost his hair 10 yrs earlier he'd be a unheard of actor.
