I am wondering how much of an impact on hair loss/growth circulation has?
It is obviously important, as your body needs to deliver oxygen and nutrients to the hair in order for healthy growth. But how much impact would drastically improving circulation have on the state of your hair.
Now i for one, probobly have pretty poor circulation, i drink, and i smoke (at work, sometimes 15 a day). I dont do a great deal of exercise either. When im applying topicals to my head, and i have one arm holding my hair apart (Above my head) i can feel blood draining from my arm, or i feel it get colder, when i put my arm back down to my side i can feel the blood literally going back into it, and my fingers go from white to a slightly pinker white (i have very pale skin anyway).
I am planning on cutting out the smoking, and replacing drinking in the evenings with going to the gym a few times a week, and doing mainly cardio exercises (like riding a bike etc..), however, i dont want to go into this for the sake of my hair and see NO improvement as it is disheartening, and i want to do this for health in general. If i go into a full on exercise regieme with high expectations and i see little or no improvement i'll get p*ssed off and wont stick to it, but if i go in with realistic/reasonably set expectations, and see that, i know i can stick with it.
So... Would improving circulation make THAT much of a difference?
The other thing is, if you improve circulation in your scalp, surely that means more DHT gets up there? Although, i could be wrong on this.
