Hi,

I'm losing hair from front of head and temples. I've decided to start using some of the more popular treamtments to help combat the hair loss process.

However, I'm now having second thoughts as I've read reports talking about users of Propecia experiencing increased hair loss and a return of acne.

The fact that something for hair loss is being reported as allegedly causing increased hair loss is of major concern to me.

Yes, I would like to keep and if possible regrow some of my hair but the reports of side effects are giving me second thoughts. Some of the other problems I've read about are dry skin, decreased libido, and increase in body hair.

Has anyone on here experienced any of these problems?

Is Propecia worth it? Or is Xandrox15 the one to go for?

I would really appreciate if someone could point me to where I would find the independant studies and trials of Finasteride/Propecia.

Many thanks.

I experienced oily skin.. and slightly puffy nipples. (beginings of gyno) i immediatly began using proactive (for skin) and i'm cycling on and off of tamoxifen (for puffy nipples).

I do not reccomend you use tamoxifen, it's not approved by the FDA etc..

I never had any other side effects.. although it hasnt helped my hair on month 5 yet..

I wouldnt worry too much about the side effects b/c if you get off of propecia, things will go back to normal.. as if you never took it.
