I would appreciate any thoughts on this. No one in my family has really had any hairloss issues. My grandpas both lost some hair in their 60's but nothing to stress over. I've always been told I have great thick hair and I've never worried about it. I'm 22. About 2-3 months ago I tried B5 vitamin to improve my skin but quit soon after I read it can cause hairloss. I did not take enough to have an effect on my body. But I've been worrying about hairloss ever since. My main question is:what is the chance that I start going bald at the exact same time I started looking for it? There are too many factors as to why I'm concerned over the hair I see when I shower. My hair is the longest it's ever been(only about 2-4 inches though) I've always kept it pretty short. But when I wake up and my hair is dirty. I run my fingers through it and hairs and dandruff fall out and it worries me. I get about 10-20 hairs that I can see on my hands if I check while shampooing. And if I use a brush after the shower I get like 20 or more. If I use a wide tooth comb I see less but figure they fall out later. I'm still probably in the normal range but I wish there were less fall out so I could just stop worrying. I've been taking 3000 MSM for 3 weeks and 4000 biotin. My hair seems to be holding up despite the hairs i lose but I worry that the thinning is so gradual that it will be years before I notice a real difference.
