Hey all this is my first post here,
Anyways here is a timeline of my hairloss:
19 - Hairline began to recede although it was only really evident by closely looking at old photos
21 - Family pointed out I had receding hairline
22 - Started using minoxidil 5% twice a day alongside taking biotin, pumpkin seed oil, and stinging nettle root. Also implemented occasional dermarolling. Worth mentioning I was considering hair transplant at this time as I was really distraught about loosing my hair at my age. One of the hair transplant doctors I reached out to claimed I was a NW2-NW2.5
23 - Hairline I think got a little worse could not really tell. I think I was definitely more NW2.5 however. Cut back minoxidil treatments to once at night but dermarolled after every application
24 - Started Keto diet and drastically cut back masturbation (apparently some people said frequent masturbation could cause hairloss so I figured I'd just cut it). Coincidentally I think my hairline actually improved. Really not sure where I stand now but I'll post photos.
So looking back over the past 3 years it seems at the very least the hairloss has stopped. I was considering going another year just to see if I can maintain the status quo and if so I would jump the gun at get a hair transplant. If you here think it's a safe move for the transplant, I've been considering both Feller and Bloxham in NY and Dr. Civas in Turkey (I'm from eastern US). So would it be a stupid move to get a transplant at 25 (will almost be 26 at time of surgery)?
Sorry for the sh*t pictures. First 2 are just after starting minoxidil so age 22. 3rd one is the picture I sent to Feller and bloxham where they recommended a dense frontal pack at age 23. The last 3 are from today just 2 months from my 25th birthday. It's probably not visible from the photos but I've not only almost filled in all the thin parts of my hairline but I'm experiencing growth on it as well. So hair transplant or not?
